Ship ahoy! “Zurichs most beautiful place is the lake.” Enjoy the views of the city and lake communities from a new perspective!

Equipped with state-of-the-art features, such as GPS, audio, digital binoculars (VR Viewer), and optional offline mode, the multi-media guide of Digiboo is your ideal travel companion.

On the boat trip from Zurich to Rapperswil and back, historian Dr. Walther Fuchs presents exclusive facts from the arts, history, and culture on selected monument sights about the communities of Lake Zurich.

You get to know, for example, that in 1697, the former mayor of Zurich and owner of the estate “Traubenberg” in Zollikon, Heinrich Escher, was the first to introduce chocolate to Switzerland; or that the world-famous psychiatrist Sigmund Freud visited his patient “Emmy von N” on the Au peninsula; or where exactly in Stäfa the Swiss national drink RIVELLA was invented.
Thanks to the Peak Finder, you can now identify the various mountains of the beautiful Alpine panorama, which, back in 1750, already delighted the German poet Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock on his cruise on Lake Zurich.

The guide also includes practical information on various boat tours, offers a selection of restaurants, provides information on the best swimming places, free WiFi spots, and much more.
